about
memories of the kids making music at the campus radio station. long nights of loop digging and sample flipping. gem after gem. rows upon rows of vinyl stacked floor to ceiling. that jazz section...beat tapes and milk crates. drum loops and an mpc or 2. closed circuit + studio j = good intentions with bad behaviour.
here's a few tracks, mostly pop music, i put together that remind me of how i got into sampling. i hope it will stick around long enough for you to enjoy. peace to everyone who came out back in the day - dj memetic, mr. drifter, templedon, ian keteku, black smurf, rosie monday, mitch, hyf gypsysun, paul marcogliese, nilla, sam cee, jarratt, matt tamblyn, walker tamblyn, adam pereira, cameron hill, josh mosher-mandel, and francis gillis.
special thanks to bläpdëli for the unreleased jazz track.
[sorry if i missed ya]
